- Cheapest Supermarket for Dry Cleaning? - MoneySavingExpert Forum
My partner and i use Morrisons dry cleaning on a monthly basis and have never had any problems we pay £12 for 4 items this seems to be most peoples experiences with franchises of this kind; the end result is only as good as the care that is taken by the people who operate the individual franchise find a good one and stick to them if the price is right better still, only buy things that
- Dry Cleaning - dress came back with brown marks
The cleaners claim sometimes there can be a reaction to dried perspiration I have also noticed that near these marks the material (silk) has started to perish Yesterday I took the dress to another dry cleaners for their opinion They said that the original cleaners should have warned that all cleaning is done at the risk of the customer
- Beware of Johnsons Dry Cleaners discounts! - MoneySavingExpert Forum
I came unstuck with a very unfair and dishonest Dry Cleaning voucher sent to me by Johnsons: Usual cost to dry clean a coat (£12 25) and a two-piece suit (12 60): £24 85 total Usual cost with my Priority Club 10% discount: £22 36 total Cost with a 20% discount voucher emailed to me by Johnsons at Christmas (which staff mistakenly put in as 25%): £22 71 total So why did I pay more with a 25
- Timpson: Dont let them near your watch! - MoneySavingExpert Forum
Well, this is a turn up I received a call today from a manager in the Customer Service dept Very apologetic (naturally); has arranged for my watch to be bumped up and should be done by the weekend; will be delivered direct to me, I don't have to collect from branch and they've offered me a watch up to £100 from https: www lingraywatches co uk
- Has anyone washed dry clean only suite covers
The cost of getting them dry cleaned will be at least twice, possibly 3 times the cost I expected the cleaners bill to be So I'm wondering if anyone here has risked washing their dry clean only covers successfully? It appears that a new set of covers would set me back £1500 or more, so I'm certainly not willing to just take a chance!
- Cash or Card — MoneySavingExpert Forum
The dry cleaner can then take that full £50 to the shop and buy £50 worth of shopping and so on But if I paid by card, the card company would take a percentage of that transaction, which it would then do again to the restaurant owner when he paid for his dry cleaning and so on
- Dry-cleaning Morrisons v Sainsburys - MoneySavingExpert Forum
Usually take my dry cleaning to Morrisons but as my other half said "Sainsburys is just down the road" I went to the Timpsons dry-cleaning concession in my local Sainsburys 53 quid for 8 items!!!!! Bit expensive for dry-cleaning Total cost for the same items done at Morrisons £28 usually Much , much cheaper
- washing a duvet - MoneySavingExpert Forum
Then brought it home to dry naturally on an airing rack It worked well In the winter, it does take at least 2 days to dry and the results are fine Would like to think that at least I am saving energy! Though just thinking about it, if someone is allergic to dust mite, tumble-drying a hollow fibre duvet after a wash might help kill them off
- Stairwell carpet stinks after being shampood with machine.
After all carpet cleaners deal with flooded property jobs extraction must be maxed out to aid drying The rug doctor is very limited in this hence the stink Once exrtracted you then must consider the ventilated drying time which will be much longer in the above case A heater is not the answer at all
- Flash - does it do everything? — MoneySavingExpert Forum
