- What do BCCG 10s typically get from PSA? — Collectors Universe
The mystery of what the BCCG 10 card could grade if crossed over makes the occasional buyer pay PSA 8 9 price for a card that is most likely a PSA 7 I've been on both sides of this before and I think that, as a seller, it's a nice option to have when you know a card will surely sell for more in a BCCG 10 holder than it will in a PSA 8 holder
- What is BCCG grading service and why use it? - Freedom Cardboard
The cards that are rejected are then sent to BCCG Cards that meet the BCCG 10 requirements are then slabbed for a small fee, typically between $1-3 (based on the number of cards submitted) More than likely, a card in a BCCG 10 holder was already rejected once from being a BGS 9 5 That doesn't mean you can't get a BGS 9 5, but it is unlikely
- BGS vs. BCCG? — Collectors Universe
The gist is BCCG cards are virtually worthless The BCCG grading scale is ridiculous, take a look at the grading scale used: 10 is mint or better, 9 is near mint or better and 8 is excellent or better I believe it costs less for that service than the BGS service
- What is the difference between BGS and BCCG? - Net54baseball. com
"BCCG has a completely different grading scale from any of the other grading companies including Beckett The BCCG grading scale is: BCCG 10 Mint or Better = BGS 9 or Better BCCG 9 Near Mint or Better = BGS 7 or Better BCCG 8 Excellent or Better = BGS 5 or Better BCCG 7 Very Good or Better = BGS 3 or Better BCCG 6 Good or Better = BGS 2 or Better
- BCCG — Collectors Universe
A BCCG 10 is "Mint or better" so high PSA 9s and well centered 8s with nice corners generally end up in those slabs A BCCG 9 is "Near Mint or better" so PSA 7s and 8s generally cross to BCCG 9s Every once in a while cards can slip into a BCCG 10 slab that don't warrant it but overall they're actually fairly accurate
- Compare BCCG to PSA Grades — Collectors Universe
IMO BCCG is crap Your PSA 7 or 8 would likely get a BCCG 9 AS for how they grade OC cards I don't know The BCCG 9 or 10 would likely get a 7, 8 9 or 10 at PSA JMO I could be wrong Steve >> Well yeah Steve A Bccg 9 says "near mint or better" right on the flip It's not intended as a "mint" card A Bccg 10 says "mint or better" on the flip
- Can someone tell me about bccg — Collectors Universe
>> The number grades on BCCG cases are NOT the same as the numbers on a BGS or PSA case They follow a totally different scale You'll notice that a BCCG 7 says "Very Good or better" while a PSA 7 says "Near Mint" Here's a handy-dandy chart to use to get an aproximation of what a BCCG card would grade in the normal 10 point system
- BCCG 9 Crossover — Collectors Universe
On another note, I've got a BCCG 9 and a PSA 8 1960 Yastrzemski At first glance, the PSA card looks worse than the BCCG one, but on closer inspection, there's a nice corner bend on the BCCG card Probably a 6 at the absolute best from PSA, and probably a 5 Bummer because when I got back into the hobby, I paid PSA 7 prices for the BCCG card
- is there a difference in bccg and BGS grading?
BCCG is a joke, and I would not even consider buying a card graded by bccg One thing I will say though is they don't charge to reholder a card as a "seperate service" and require you to pay $16 50 additional postage like psa does though
- What is up with quot;BCCG quot;? - Collectors Universe Message Boards
BCCG was trying to take business away from GEM, PRO, etc , since it was the customers of these grading shops that they were courting So in the end I think BCCG is probably a good thing if it helps marginalize companies who have a company policy of slabbing trimmed cards
