- Multi-tool comparison - Bushcraft USA Forums
I am the proud owner of a new Leatherman ARC I was surprised at the compactness of this knife It is only slightly bigger than my Leatherman Rebar Here is the Mut, ARC and Rebar sided by side Here is a picture with the main blades deployed Here you can see the differences in the saws
- Design your own Multi-tool | Bushcraft USA Forums
I would add to the Leatherman multi tool as of your choice, yes an awl, plus the main blade with a slight serrated edge for skinning used as a striker for a ferro rod, not forgetting a magnifying glass A marlin spike would be useful too similar to that from a Jack Knife Perhaps maybe a harness cutter type blade with a curve
- Leatherman Multitool vs Victorinox SAK! Do you really use the pliers . . .
I use the pliers on my EDC multi tool more then I use the actual blade, or at least it seems that way Next would be the can opener, I often find myself using that in the kitchen instead of going in the drawer for the can opener Heck, I even use the mini file fairly often It's an Ozark Trail, cost me $5 and works well above the price
- REVIEW: Leatherman Free P4 Multi Tool - Bushcraft USA Forums
When the Leatherman Free Series was announced to say I was intrigued would be an understatement Having used Leatherman Tools for many years, the idea of “magnetic architecture” was fascinating When it finally hit the stores here in Australia, I was among the first to pick one up Today I’ll be
- Best Multi-tool - Bushcraft USA Forums
I don't need a tool with a bit holder in my profession and carrying a socket set into the woods does nothing for me I'd get a Leatherman Super tool 300 if I knew for sure I'd never lose it though Or maybe a Rebar Until that day comes, the Gerber Suspension multi tool will continue to ride on my belt next to my Buck 110
- Multi-Tool Accessories and Kits | Bushcraft USA Forums
Share any accessories you use with your multi-tools, tools they're compatible with and your multi-tool kits The Leatherman bit extender and ratchet are a great combo Here they are with a Surge and Signal View attachment 1865540 View attachment 1865541 I just picked up a couple ratchets from 711L designed for use with the Leatherman flat bit
- Best leatherman tool on a budget? | Bushcraft USA Forums
I bought the Leatherman because I wanted a set of folding pliers, not because I wanted a multi-tool to replace my knife Yes, a knife is a tool and in my opinion the most important tool a man could have That's exactly why I don't want one on my multi-tool, is because it's so important that I always carry a "real" one (ie, a dedicated knife)
- Leatherman Multitool vs Victorinox SAK! Do you really use the pliers . . .
After watching and reading lots and lots of reviews, test and opinions on multiple forum and youtube, i've just ordered a Victorinox Spirit today for "woodcrafting", i think it's the perfect tool for the job, My Leatherman Wave would still be my "Urban EDC Working around the house" choice and most of my Victorinox SAK will remain in my pocket for edc
- Which multi tool specifically for bushcrafting and camping, looking for . . .
My top two have been the Victirinox Spirit X and Leatherman's (sadly discontinued), FREE series (P2 and P4) The blade is usually secondary for serious cutting chores, but my handiest tools are usually the saw, scissors, file, awl, and flat tip screwdriver ROCK6
