- Most devices topped out at 20 Mbps until I switched from WPA2 WPA3 to . . .
I did a Ookla Speed Tests on all our 20 or so devices, including Macbooks, iPads, Android Phones, Sony Smart TV, PC Most of them (with the specific exception of a brand new Ulefone I got a few days ago) would test at only 20 megabits of data transfer speed
- Router speed test - D-Link
Always test wired Wireless has too many variables and can't provide accurate data There are many speed test sites Preferred testing is to test with only one device connected Might turn off WiFi as well to block while testing
- SpeedTest Results - D-Link
SpeedTest Results Figured I'd start a new thread - It would be interesting to see what everyone's results are when running a speed test using the D-Link DIR-890L Here are mine: MODEM: Motorola SB6180 ROUTER: DIL-890L FW: 1 08 HW: A1 ISP: Cable 100Mb 5Mb Package **Speed test conducted via WIRELESS CONNECTION using an iMac (Safari browser)

However, speed testing with a Galaxy Tab S2, iPhone 6sP and Mac Book Pro 2018 using Ooklas's speed test app resulted in horrible speeds Nothing over 12-15Mbps on the down I turned off and back ON, the wifi radios on each device while near the B Point downstairs so I could ensure they were connecting to the B Point there
- Slow download speeds - interesting findings during troubleshooting
Wired computer is getting 254 Mbps up and down (I pay for 250, so this is great - faster than full speed) All of the following tests were done sitting in the same spot 10 feet from the router in the line of sight (no obstructions) all using the Ookla SpeedTest app on my iPhone X Baseline 2 4Ghz test - 76 down, 74 up
- Slow Wireless Speeds - D-Link
On my PC (connected via ethernet cable) I get test results consistently at or above my ISP's advertised speed of 16 Mbps down and 2 Mbps up In addition, when trying to copy a large file like a video from my PC to my wireless laptop, the transfer speed doesn't go above 3 Mbps
- Which tool to use for measuring NAS R W speed? - D-Link
The utility creates a test file with the size of your choice, up to 2GB, and then copies the file to the network drive of your choice and measures the time taken and computes the average speed and then reverses the process so you can see how read speeds compare to write speeds Finally it deletes the est files
- download upload speed dropped - D-Link
How are you determining the speeds? Try different speed testing sites and also see if your ISP has a local speed testing site to test with Speedtest net can have varied results hoangtu69: I use Speedtest net for both scenarios when I bypassed the router (> 20 mbps for download) and when I connect to the router (< 10 mbps) Any other things I can try to bring up the download speed please
- Gradual Decrease in Download speed - forums. dlink. com
I have a DIR-655 for about a year now and I'm noticing that when my router first starts up my speedtest results from the internet are anywhere from 20-35 mbps Soon after (say 15-30 mins) that same test will drop down to about 300-500 kpbs Has anyone seen this behavior? It happens across wired, wireless connections I upgraded to the latest firmware to see if that would fix it, but that didn't
