- NameSilo - Issues with Contact Email Verification - NamePros
Hey @namesilo I went to login into my account today and was asked for an auth code because it detected a "new device" But not receiving any emails directly from Namesilo for some reason, nor are you receiving any However the chat agent was able to send me one through a third-party, and no issues from other companies to my address

- Namesilo deactivated my account - NamePros
Namesilo deactivated my account with all my domains The problem is I never receive their emails and they knew about this issue since 2019 but they never tried to fix it 26 05 2023 I paid Namesilo for 3 domain name transfer from another registrar, but they never were able to send me an email
- Viewing Afternic and Sedo MLS Status on NameSilo - NamePros
namesilo said: We have just added Afternic status (Yes No to indicate opted in or not) to the CSV file export on the top of the Domain Manager page We'll get something more integrated with the UI before too long which will also support SedoMLS status
- Namesilo just took SIX MONTHS to fix a security problem
SIX MONTHS later, after I have given up on using marketsites with namesilo and created my own site, I have been actively transferring domains away from them and I changed my sales portal (for new registrations) from namesilo to internetbs Then Namesilo FINALLY send me a very short email: We have removed domains that do not belong to you
- discuss Interesting thing just happened on NameSilo auctions
hey, why should namesilo care, they force everyone to load funds into their account On one hand I find them to be a very easy registrar, great features, ease of use etc On the auctions they want to be fair so they set max limits, but this pre loading funds thing to bid, something none of the major auctioneers require, just to find out the
- Dynadot vs Namesilo - NamePros
Quirky in both cases but I think the NameSilo marketplace has it's draws All in all I would be happy in either place but if I had to pick one I would pick dynadot because they are a small company and namesilo was bought out by the big boys, that usually spells trouble as cuts get made to staffing and amalgamations take hold
- Namesilo . . . . is this normal activity for them? - NamePros
So if your case didn't fell to those definitions, Namesilo didn't accept your abuse complaint Now, "being rude" is usually quite a subjective estimation, so until you provide actual quotes from the chats where they were rude (which i hardly can believe), i'd tend to think Namesilo are in the right position in this case
