If the sensor is more than around 15 to 20% away from a finger-prick test, where the test is done around 10 minutes before comparing to the Libre and levels are flat and stable during time, and if three separate tests show that level of inaccuracy, then Abbott will replace the sensor for free

The Libre 2 sensor gave me 7 in range and 5 out of range I don't find that acceptable at all Last night I retired to bed at around 10 30 pm with a reading of 5 8mmol L on my sensor having eaten a moderately mid carb meal of steak, chips and salad at 6pm and dosed accordingly

Hi I have been using Libre 2+ for 2 3 months and have recently moved to Omnipod 5 Closed loop I find it consistently reads between 1 - 2 mmol lower than a finger prick Hence it alarms with supposed lows but in reality I am not For example libre alarmed at 05 00 this morning saying 3 5 when a finger prick was 7 7

OK, so I have now done my second round of testing and the results are consistent with the first round Libre 2 Plus, while not perfect, is closer to my glucometer tests than Libre 2 I'm seeing remarkably similar pattern - Libre 2 Plus is 0 3 - 0 8 mmol l higher, while Libre 2 tends to run 1 - 1 5 mmol l higher than my glucometer tests

Though to be fair the libre is pretty close to my meter reading After downloading an app that does a BT scan (On my Android phone ) There also seems to be an array of Apple BT products quite close I only own an iPad mini I can also see our printer TV (Along with Alexa?) none of which my phone is hooked up to

In terms of my Libre 2 and Libre 2 Plus sensors, I haven't noticed any difference in the variations during the times where they're good I get a mixture of my sensor reading higher or lower than my meter, with the discrepancies usually being around 1-2mmol regardless of where my levels are

If you are using an original Libre reader, or if you start the sensor with another device, say, a phone, I don’t think you’ll get the alarms If you have the Libre2 reader, and if you started the sensor with the Libre2 reader, and it isn’t giving the three types of alarm (high, low, lost connection) I suggest you contact the support desk
