You're conflating the broad categories that credit card issuers list next to your charges for informational purposes with the actual MCCs of the merchant The types of stores you are describing are all 5441 Grocery Stores as well as Supermarkets are 5411 As @kdm31091 stated, issuers are free to choose which MCCs will qualify for bonus categories

Also, my credit limits are all $300-$500 on my starter cards except for PayPal Credit with a $1200 CL Since this is a Savor One with GOOD CREDIT, if I got approved would I be more likely to get a $2000 or $3000 CL or would I still get a measly $500 or something even though the card is for people with GOOD CREDIT?
