Some of you may not know this, but Capital One currently has two different banks under the same bank holding company: Capital One Bank and Capital One 360 Capital One Bank accounts are more or less defunct now but in the past could only be opened at brick-and-mortar branches, while Capital One 360 accounts can still be opened at branches

It's basically a carbon copy (very 20th century) to the Cap One 360 set up AmEx even uses the same ATM networks that Cap One does Same rate, same fee structure Idenical I'd still choose Cap One simply because it's on the Mastercard network and would be more reliable in Europe And the Cap One app is waaaay better than AmEx

Re: Capital One online - removing closed accounts As someone mentioned, you can call and they'll reset your login However, the last time I did it, the rep just walked me through the enrollment process (I don't think she reset it or anything)

I have a 360 savings and my kids a money acct through capital one but couldn't get approved for the checking So I tried this freeze on chexsystem and about 5 mins later login into my capital one savings clicked on the 360 checking and boom I had a checking account So thank you thank you thank you for leaving the post and comments

It’s so annoying that you can’t remove or hide closed accounts on your Capital One profile I just did an account combination, QS1 into my QS, which then closed the QS1 I figured I could call in and get a CSR to unenroll them from my online banking like they did in the past, however apparently they’re not able to do that anymore and it
