I can recommend Bitwarden, it's free and way way better than Apple's passwords app! I switched to a bitwarden password manager after my MacBook keychain wiped all my passwords (don't ask me how, I don't know and I don't understand, I was completely devastated!) Unfortunately, they also wiped the passwords on all my other devices
