  • Bilstein 5100s - Tacoma World
The 5100’s were designed by Bilstein to retain the factory coils You don’t have to replace them to achieve lift The shocks themselves have an adjustable perch that sets the height at various levels Bilstein recommends 5100s use stock Tacoma coils to retain their lifetime warranty
  • Bilstein 5100 review - Tacoma World
Bilstein 5100's; front set at 1 75", 16" Goodyear Duratracs, 1 25" Spidertrax, Roll n' Lock Bed Cover Just did the exact same thing this week, also ordered from Essex Rides like a beaut
  • Bilstein 5100 Settings for dummies - Tacoma World
Going with Bilstein 5100’s (for now) front and rear with no additional mods parts other than what comes with the 5100’s I have read and read on here and don’t have a complete break down of the Bilstein Settings without additional mods and I’m looking for a recommendation and break down
  • Bilstein 5100 - Tacoma World
The 5100's are a bigger, wider shock compared to the oem Bilstein Off Road shocks I raised mine the full 2" and got rid of the oem brake dive Not sure what people mean by a stiffer ride, if they are comparing them to the oem OR shocks Now if your talking the Sport model, the oem Sport shocks are a stiffer ride
  • BILSTEIN 6112 5160 - Tacoma World
I was runnin 5100 before with 6112's up front and I wanted the rear to match the front in performance terms SO total set up now is Bilstein 6112 up front set at 4th ring passenger and 5th ring driver, Durobumps in the front and rear, Alcan 1in leaf pack in the back, followed up with the Bilstein 5160's remote reservoir shocks
  • Bilstein 4600s vs 5100s - Tacoma World
Bilstein 5100 vs 4600 Shocks: Key Differences These two shocks differ in three fundamental ways: Ride height: The Bilstein Heavy Duty 4600 series shocks fit only stock-height vehicles Bilstein 5100 shocks, on the other hand, support lifted trucks, usually up to 3 inches of a suspension lift or so Durability: 5100s come with additional zinc
  • Trd off road vs Bilstein 4600’s - Tacoma World
I just wanted to put this out there because I’ve seen it far too many times There’s a common misconception that the factory trd off road shocks are Bilstein 4600’s THEY’RE NOT The shock body on the 4600’s (right) are much larger Sorry if I’m beating a dead horse and delete if I am
  • Exactly what Bilstein Shocks are put on Trd-off road?
It's 4600 series shocks, but the attachment hardware for Toyota Bilstein Tacoma shocks is different than from what you get directly from Bilstein I found this out the hard way I bought some fronts and rears to replace the Hitachis on my SR5 from facebook marketplace, because the Hitachis are genuinely hard shocks
