But the tracking still shows the delivery is expected today Based on the several previous times this has happened, it won't update until tomorrow at the earliest UPS and USPS both make delivery date updates in transit and I always know if the package I ordered is actually coming on the date shown in tracking Why is FedEx so bad at this?

Shipment info sent to FEDEX - This means the shipper generated an electronic shipping label and prompted FEDEX to pick it up, or dropped it off at a local receiving station Picked up - Yeah, this one is obvious Arrived at FEDEX location - Your package has arrived at the local depot Its in a trailer or a pile and will be sorted, eventually

Lack of updates is fairly normal with FedEx If you're unfortunate enough to have a shipment via FedEx SmartPost, the updates will be even fewer That's because SmartPost is the cheapest, therefore slowest, mode of travel I've had packages sit idle in a trailer at a FedEx facility for 6 or 7 days If your package isn't moving you won't get
