  • Hobby Lobby Fabric? - The Quilting Forum - Missouri Stars Quilt Community
Re: Hobby Lobby Fabric? Nice to hear good reviews so far I was impressed with the fabric -- for it not being a quilt shop -- and hoping the fabric I purchased washes well and will make for good quilting fabric They had several prints that I have seen online from either fabric com or elsewhere -- including some Wizard of Oz themed fabric
  • Sew-ology Thread - The Quilting Forum - Missouri Stars Quilt Community
I was recently at Hobby Lobby and saw that Coats and Clarks thread is on clearance and there is a new rack for Sewology Thread Has anyone used this brand? How would you rate the quality? Sew-ology thread is not suitable for hand quilting, very thick, hard to thread, draggy, twists very badly
  • Soft and Stable vs. Pellon FF77 stabilizer - The Quilting Forum . . .
Re: Soft and Stable vs Pellon FF77 stabilizer Good to know I did know it was only 20" wide and only plan on buying it when if I can get it at 50% off On a side note, the other day I found that Hobby Lobby has 40% coupons online that you can print out and use in the store, once a day I used it on 971F which is much denser than 987F, but I have not used it yet I think I will like it!
  • Fusible fleece instead of batting? - The Quilting Forum - Missouri Star . . .
Insul-Bright is great for for hot pads, oven mits, etc I use the warm-n-white (or warm-n-natural) for placemats, table runners, etc I double layer for hot pads and table runners, I single layer for placemats I buy mine at my local fabric store (JoAnns, Hobby-Lobby, etc) hope that helps K McEuen Super Moderator Missouri Star
  • Hobby Lobby PreCuts - The Quilting Forum - Missouri Stars Quilt Community
Re: Hobby Lobby PreCuts Fabric Palette is the same brand you get at Walmart here in Canada, not sure about in the US though I've also seen quilt shops selling FQ's by the same company but would not pay more than Walmart is charging I'm using the "Paloma" line for my Farmer's Wife Granddaughter quilt, and the fabric is actually nice
  • LQS quilt fabric vs Joann hobby lobby fabric - Jenny Doan
Re: LQS quilt fabric vs Joann hobby lobby fabric My grandma used to make pieced quilt tops, and she found a cheap source of brightly colored fabrics; discarded pieces from a local hat factory
  • Kona Cotton - The Quilting Forum - Missouri Stars Quilt Community
Re: Kona Cotton I have been happy with the few quilting fabrics purchased at Hobby Lobby -- all have been prints (Wizard of Oz and other novelty) Someone previously posted on this forum in past year or so that they thought different Kona fabric was sold at chain vs quilt stores I cannot confirm By the way -- I prefer Bella Solids over Kona; I just don't like the weight and feel of Kona as
  • Hobby lobby - Fly Fishing - Maine Fly Fish
Research Hobby Lobby’s practices, especially if you have any women in your family Try Michael’s, or any other craft shop if you don’t want to pay fly shop practices
  • Bella Solid White or Kona Solid White - The Quilting Forum - Missouri . . .
Re: Bella Solid White or Kona Solid White I prefer Bella -- it seems softer and less threadbare, but I am a die-hard MODA fan I am comparing Bella from M* to the Kona at local Hobby Lobby store There has been some discussion on this forum as to whether Kona makes different grades of its fabric for distribution at different stores (quilt stores vs places like Hobby Lobby, Hancock Fabric, etc
  • Hobby Lobby 90% off Christmas fabric - The Quilting Forum - Missouri . . .
If you have a Hobby Lobby near you might want to check and see if they have any Christmas fabric left I got the last at our Hobby Lobby Can't beat 90% off Remember the bargain Christmas sheets I got at Belk They soften up very nicely when I washed them and looked cute in the guest room I love a bargain
